How We Forage: Our Wild Garlic Leaves!

A big thank you to our sibling, Minnie, who came down to the lodge for the day to take some wonderful photographs of us sustainably handpicking the wild garlic leaves that we use in our products. 

We handpick our wild garlic leaves very sustainably, only picking enough for us to make our pesto. Each bundle of garlic leaves that grow, we only pick a few leaves off each in order for the bundle to regenerate. 

After picking the leaves we wash & dry them, making sure only the greenest of green leaves go into our pesto. Once we have made the pesto, they are jarred & labelled to go out to local farm shops & delis!
